We are delighted to announce that Michael Wallis and Lana Jong have officially joined the ORIENTED organizing team in Portland! Please join us in welcoming them to the network as we move into the new year!

We also want to give our heartfelt thanks to Gloria Jung and Tracey Lam, outgoing Co-Head Organizers in Portland, for all that they have done for ORIENTED and for the greater Portland community. Gloria founded ORIENTED Portland in January 2006, and Tracey joined the team a year later. We will miss them!



Last year, Gloria and Tracey received the Exemplary Community Volunteer Award from the Asian Reporter Foundation at their 12th Annual Scholarship & Awards Banquet, and we congratulate them once again for their longstanding contributions to the community.

Please join us on Thursday, December 1 at the last ORIENTED Happy Hour for the year at YOLO Lounge to welcome the incoming team and to bid the outgoing team a fun farewell.
