Webmaster Duties

The Webmaster is responsible for providing web, email and other technical support to all of the ORIENTED Events Teams around the globe.

Duties include:

  • Providing tech support to new teams - assigning individual and group forwarding accounts, creating new team name lists, city homepages, and dedicated photo album sections, issuing module passwords and instructions, etc.
  • Providing tech support to existing teams - assisting with venue blurb formatting and photo upload problems, reassigning individual and group forwarding accounts for each new and resigning Organizer, updating team name lists, recovering lost passwords, etc.
  • Upgrading existing web functionalities (or building new ones) to further support event management capabilities and efficiencies
  • Performing regular backup and maintenance
