Resignation Benefits
Organizers who complete the resignation steps and who were active for 11 months or more will receive:
- Lifetime free entry to all ORIENTED events worldwide with online RSVP
Please note: Former organizers will be charged the general admission rates at the door if they do not RSVP in advance for events they plan to attend.
Unfortunately, a lot of people make the mistake of assuming that because they are former organizers, they are exempt from the RSVP process. That is not the case because new generation organizers will not know who all the previous organizers are.
- VIP invitations to private events limited to ORIENTED sponsors, advisors, organizers past and present, and special delegates.
Likewise, organizers who do not complete the steps below within 30 days are not qualified to receive resignation benefits and thus need not complete the Exit Forms.
Resignation Steps
- Give a 30-day notice
- Perform all duties at scheduled events during that period
- Balance out all outstanding fees, where applicable
- Recruit and train a new organizer to fill the open position
- Complete and submit the Exit Form
As of 1/1/07, Exit Forms are required for accounting purposes because the company is required to show documentation for all services given out for free. Otherwise, it may look arbitrary (fishy...). Exit Forms received after the 30-day resignation notice will not be accepted, again for policy reasons.
Please note that any organizer who was absent from a scheduled event and didn't send his or her substitute to take his/her place is not eligible for Resignation Benefits.
