On behalf of the more than fifty event organizers in the ORIENTED Network, we would like to wish all of you a very happy holiday season!

2004 was yet another exciting year for us as we expanded our Happy Hour presence to Los Angeles, Singapore, Toronto and Boston! Happy Hours continue to be held on both sides of the Pacific, with most if not all of our organizers remaining on board through 2005. In July, we introduced our popular Community Events Calendar and Jobs Database, followed by the full line of online Classifieds... helping our members to get ORIENTED!

"ORIENTED Dialogue & Exchange Series"

A lively and spectacular Media Panel this past October was attended by over 100 professionals and executives interested in the future of China's media industry. Senior executives from various sectors of the industry convened in an intimate setting to share their insights and thoughts.

Due to overwhelming demand, ORIENTED is proud to announce the official launch of the "2005 ORIENTED Dialogue & Exchange Night" series, in addition to our monthly ORIENTED Happy Hours. Our first event of the new year will be held in Shanghai on Wednesday, January 19, and will focus on Career Development in China.

Shanghai is a city of re-invention and limitless possibilities. No matter what country you are from, what industry you are in, or where you are in your life, there seems to be a place for you in Shanghai. What Else Is New?
Shenzhen - Sydney - Washington, D.C.!

We are delighted to announce that ORIENTED Happy Hours will officially launch in Shenzhen, China, in Sydney, Australia, and in Washington, D.C. -- all on Thursday, January 27th!

ORIENTED Shenzhen is headed by Nrupesh Soni, along with Thomas Rieger and Jason Lim who will be joining him in expanding our presence there.
In Sydney, Mary Yeh is back at the helm, with Ida Wong and Caroline Chen joining her team for this coming new year. And in the District of Columbia, Suzanne Yueh leads the way along with her team members Patti Chu, Caroline Nuffort, Ravi Satkalmi, and Thomas Wong.

Volunteers are wanted in the above locations and in Beijing as well, so if you would be interested in joining this dynamic organization, contact us to let us know!
