Angie is a news anchor and copyeditor for DragonTV, a subsidiary of Shanghai Television Group.

Born in Ohio and raised in Atlanta, Angie moved to Shanghai out of a spirit of curiosity and adventure a year and a half ago and found that while nothing is easy in China, anything is possible.

Angie attended Vassar College in New York and obtained a degree in Psychology that enabled her to be gainfully employed in two completely unrelated fields - Media and Design. In New York, she worked for a literary imprint of Doubleday, Nan A. Talese, and also as a publicist for Clarkson Potter, another Random House imprint. She also helped launch Rugged Land Books. In San Francisco, she cleverly disguised herself as an Interior Designer and found she was actually quite good at it.

When Angie is not dissing pushy taxi-stealers, eating fried sticky things on Shanghai's streets, or getting her eyes poked out by moody make-up artists, she likes to learn Chinese, create fashion disasters at the fabric market and literally rejoices after watching a good movie.
