Kimberly Ashton
Former Organizer, Dialogue & Exchange (Shanghai)

Kimberly is half English and half Chinese, and from Sydney, Australia. She has been in China for almost 3.5 years, both studying in Hangzhou and working in Shanghai. Studying Chinese at Zhejiang University was part of a 5 year double degree in Business and International Studies from the University of Technology Sydney, in which she majored in Marketing, International Business and Chinese.

The time spent living and travelling in China was a fantastic experience and after returning to Sydney at the completion of her studies in Hangzhou she decided that China was an exciting place to be, and came to Shanghai 2 years ago. Kimberly first worked in Marketing and Business Development in the corporate interior design industry, and is now working at Austrade (the Australian Trade Commission). Kimberly is also very active in event organising for Oriented D&E, Austcham and other business chambers and groups in Shanghai.

Kimberly has a marketing & international business background, and has worked in a number of different roles in both Shanghai and Sydney, including; event management, sponsorship marketing, marketing, working in the serviced office industry, and project management.
