Neil started his career selling newspaper advertising space to Chinese restaurants in Birmingham, UK, where he had returned after university in London, but quickly recognized that greater rewards were on offer to those who were professionally qualified.

Choosing accountancy 'because it looked easier', Neil's career has led him all over the world including spells in Belgium, Russia, Hong Kong and Singapore, where he now resides, and in industries as diverse as publishing, advertising, telecommunications, oil & gas, transportation, logistics and banking.

Having played a major part in the transformation of the Asian business of Exel plc, a leading supply chain management company -- from that of asset-operator to integrated supply chain service provider -- Neil is now Senior Advisor - Transportation and Logistics to a merchant bank.

Aside from running his own advisory practice which regularly consults for banks, technology providers, transport operators and logistics providers, Neil also sits on the board of a number of transport and logistics companies. Neil holds an MBA from Rutgers University, lives in Singapore with his wife and daughter, and is an active member of a number of industry bodies.
