Pascal Ly Co-Head Organizer, Singapore
Though his ancestors were originally from China and migrated to Cambodia, Pascal was born in a refugee camp in Thailand because of the war. Nine days after his birth, his family moved to France where he was raised and educated until the age of 9. At that point, he and his family moved to Australia where he attended school until the age of 12 before returning back to France. When he finally had a chance to visit Cambodia in 2009 for the very first time in his life, Pascal happened to stop by Singapore for a six-hour transit, and it was during this transit that he decided to move to Singapore with his wife which they did in a matter of months, as there he felt right at home. In Singapore since January 2010, Pascal works in the digital marketing field having obtained nearly eight years of experience in the field while living in France. Fluent in French, Cambodian and English, Pascal is extremely happy to be in Singapore. He feels that Asia is the place to be, and Singapore is a very dynamic place with interesting people from all over the world. Pascal loves all kinds of sports - racket game, cycling, rollerblading, skate boarding, baseball, tae kwon do, you name it! He is especially passionate about football both in real-life and on the console. If you are looking for a player or an opponent on FIFA or Winning Eleven then he's your man! Pascal's very first networking session in Singapore was at an ORIENTED Happy Hour. Many of the people he met are now his good friends. He sees ORIENTED as the first step of an exciting journey to develop business in Asia and is excited to be the Co-Head organizer for ORIENTED Singapore. Having traveled from the western hemisphere to now the east, Pascal really enjoys meeting new people and helping them in any way that he can. Come to the next Happy Hour and be sure to introduce yourself to him! Joined: January 2011
