Patricia was born and raised in the New York metropolitan area. A first-generation Taiwanese-American, her family always emphasized the importance of their background and traditional values.

That translates to... "Patricia spoke Taiwanese at home and took Mandarin Chinese classes on weekends like a good little girl".

After obtaining a marketing degree at New York University, Trish began her career in Advertising working on the vices of human temptation -- cigarettes and alcohol.

When she finally decided to go on the "straight and narrow", Patricia moved to the Telecommunications sector, managing both advertising and marketing for the newly created AT&T Broadband account at Foote, Cone and Belding. After a short stint at D’Arcy, Masius, Benton and Bowles on Sprint ION, Trish has spent her most recent years at the Direct Marketing agency, Wunderman, managing multiple IBM accounts. She couldn't have worked on a more conservative account...

Recently married to her boyfriend of six years, Trish made the move to Tokyo to be with Victor in December 2001. Currently, Trish is filling her days taking Japanese language and cultural classes and generally immersing herself in the culture and community of Tokyo.
