Born in US and having traditional Japanese parents who valued their culture, Rena is a dual national with a broad cultural background combined with extensive work experience.

After she finished her Management Information Systems degree in Washington State University, she started working as a software engineer. During her engineering career, she had shifted her career toward IT product marketing and sales sectors. Prior to joining Hudson Global Resources, she was a sales and marketing manager in Asia territory for an American company - IT and benefit consulting firms. At Hudson Global Resources, she focuses primarily on the semiconductor and end-user IT hiring needs as a consultant.

With her management and engineering background, she understand the industry's needs for their candidate searches. She not only has hands on experience in the industry, but also as a hiring manager in the past. She can now put herself in the 'shoes' of both the employees and the employers.

When she is away from the office, she enjoys watching movie, traveling, cooking and shopping (of course!) Her life long agenda is "Work Hard and Have Fun!"
