Sabrina Ho
Head Organizer, Hong Kong

Sabrina is Chinese and was born and raised in Hong Kong. Even so, it's not uncommon for people she meets on the plane, at the malls, or on the streets to speak to her in Korean or Japanese! In that sense, Sabrina must truly be an international woman of mystery...

Sabrina's first taste of living overseas was spending a summer working for an NGO in Omaha, Nebraska, home to the great Warren Buffet, the wealthiest man on earth. She was also an executive member of AIESEC, one of the world's largest student organizations, where she devoted most of her time doing cultural exchange and cultivating young talents. Realizing the importance of being multi-lingual, Sabrina subsuquently enrolled herself in an intensive Mandarin course in Beijing at Tsinghua University.

Sabrina worked in marketing and business development in the corporate trading industry, where she participated in organizing one of the world's largest engineering exhibitions in Germany and China. It was a great job for her as it gave her many challenges to tackle while giving her the opportunity to travel and meet fascinating and extraordinary people. During that time, she also worked as a project assistant in the American Chamber of Commerce. Those experiences enabled her to hone in on her communication, organizational and project management skills through first-hand experience.

Before jumping into the corporate world, Sabrina desperately wanted to live in a cosmopolitan environment, so she spent her final semester on an exchange program at Pace University in New York. Living just one block away from Wall Street, Sabrina was determined to get *in there* somehow, so after three months of building up her network there, she got a job as an analyst in Maria Fiorini Ramirez, Inc., an independent global economic and financial consulting firm. Never underestimate the power of guanxi! Sabrina is grateful to Maria for giving her this amazing opportunity to learn, grow and know so many marvelous people.

Back in Hong Kong, Sabrina won a position in Weber Shandwick, the world's largest public relations firm, where she provided professional PR services to global technology clients in APAC. She realized that the financial industry is what she is most fond of and passionate about. She finally found a career that combined all her skills, experiences, passions and expertise, which is recruitment - banking and financial recruitment to be exact! Sabrina places middle to senior executives in the banking sectors and is loving every minute of it. To be rewarded for helping professionals to develop their own careers is a win-win for all. Life can't be more wonderful!

Sabrina speaks English, Cantonese, Mandarin and a little bit of French and Italian. Fine dining, night life, traveling and reading are her favorite activities. Sabrina learned about the ORIENTED Happy Hours through a former colleague and has enjoyed attending them ever since.

Hey people! Please do not hesitate and go to meet her even if she is submerged by the crowd. She would love to get to know each one of you!
