Sam Yeh
Former Organizer, Sydney

Growing up all over the place, Sam is truly one of those people that when you ask him, "Where do you come from?" it takes him about two minutes to think and still can’t come up with an answer. Born in Ping-Tung, Taiwan and moving to Sydney, Australia at the age of seven, one would expect him to use expressions such as "G’day Mate", "Bloody Hell", and "Fair Dinkim". Luckily for him, he moved to LA during his adolescence and now speaks like (or tries to sound like) an LA gangster, especially after a few alcoholic beverages.

Graduating from Beverly Hills High School, Sam continued his education at the University of Southern California on a Presidential Scholarship in the Marshall School of Business, and eventually returned to Australia to complete his Bachelor degree in Commerce at the University of New South Wales. During his studies, he managed to take a year off to work and play in Japan.

While living in Tokyo, Sam developed a love for the Japanese culture, the language, and the people. But most of all, Sam would have been happy to live forever in Japan, if someone had just given him a job cooking Ramen. If anyone is ever interested in starting up a chain of Ramen shops (has to be tonkotsu) anywhere in the world, feel free to contact him at anytime.

Sam has also been spotted at various Hip-Hop R&B clubs around Sydney, trying ever so desperately to dance and get down, only to be seen later wandering aimlessly on the streets of Sydney in search of something to eat -- Ramen.

Currently working in UBS Investment Bank, Sam is enjoying his life as a working professional. Although the work may seem repetitive, he does not complain about getting paid doing what he loves to do.
