After surviving the LA riots, Northridge earthquake, Malibu fires and the frenzy of the UCLA's '95 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship, a weary Sherman returned to the Bay Area to pursue his graduate studies in law and business. Thereafter, he experienced first-hand the heyday of Internet-mania in Taipei, Taiwan as an analyst at venture capital firm Walden International. One and a half years worth of mango shaved ice, dumplings, knife-cut (not pared) noodles and a mountain of business plans later, Sherman returned to sunny California and currently serves in both a legal and biz dev capacity for VIA Telecom, a CDMA chip company based in San Diego. He hopes to one day open the first In-N-Out burger joint in Shanghai and Taipei. Anyone interested?
