Suzanne Yueh Former Head Organizer, Washington, D.C.
Armed with a Bachelor's Degree in East Asian studies, she decided to move even further away from home and packed up for a year to teach English at Beijing Normal University in 1999. Six months into the job, and to her family's dismay, Suzanne decided she loved being in China so much that she signed on for another year of teaching, this time at the Foreign Affairs College in Beijing. Two years of gallivanting around China and Asia came to a precipitous end, after Suzanne decided she'd had enough of the pollution and fighting the crowds on public transportation. Upon return to the US, Suzanne faced a few months of unemployment and temp jobs before landing a position at The China Law Center of Yale Law School. After two years of contributing to the economy, it was time to move on (again). Suzanne began studying for her MA at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies in Washington, DC, where she anticipates graduation in May 2005.
