Victoria Yuan
Former Head Organizer, Boston

Growing up as a tomboy in her childhood years, Victoria never thought that she would end up in a career in the glitzy and glamorous world of fashion. Victoria grew up in Foster City, California (an island built on engi-
neered landfill!). Playing with the duckies in man-made lakes remains one of her fondest childhood memories, and visits to Pier 39 to watch fat sea lions bathing languidly in the sun is still one of her favorite pasttimes.

At the age of 14, Victoria left home to attend a prep school in Toronto. She was the only cheerleader daring enough to sign up for the rugby team. After surviving a full-frontal attack by a 160-lb. girl, she realized that she wasn't cut out for the game and took up ballroom dancing instead.

Victoria attended the University of Southern California and was actively involved with Alpha Chi Omega there as Membership Chair and Events Chair. From dancing competitively on the USC Ballroom & Latin Dance Team, Victoria developed a real love and appreciation for Latin music and culture. She graduated from the Marshall School of Business with a dual emphasis in Marketing and Management & Organization, as well as a minor in Psychology.

After climbing the corporate ladder at Macy's and Robinsons-May as Buyer, Victoria accepted an offer from Ralph Lauren and moved to Asia to pursue a career in international brand management. In the fall of 2002, she moved yet again - this time to the beautiful city of Boston to attend the MBA program at Boston University.

From time to time, Victoria can still be seen in clubs around town, kicking up her heels and dancing as if she were a Latin diva!

"Work like you don't need the money,
love like you've never been hurt,
dance like no one is watching."
