A native Californian of Chinese & Japanese descent, Vivian was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Knowing full well that there was more to life than sun, surf, and Silicon Valley, she headed east for college, attending the University of Pennsylvania and graduating with a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of Business.

After a two-year stint working for a large shipping & transportation company in both New York and Los Angeles, in 1991, Vivian fulfilled a life-long dream of moving to Asia, and settled in Taipei to work and study Mandarin at Shi Da.

After two more years in shipping-related industry positions in Taipei, she partnered up with a friend, Larry Wang, and founded Greater China recruiting specialist firm, Wang & Li Asia Resources. She founded the operation in Taipei which eventually rolled out to offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing & San Francisco.

After seven amazing years in Asia, Vivian returned stateside and settled in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is a busy working mom to two active sons who she hopes will one day follow in her footsteps and pursue travels, work and experiences overseas - in Asia or wherever their interests take them.
