Weimin Tan
Former Head Organizer, New York

Born in the UK, Wei Min grew up in Klang, Malaysia, where he used to cycle everywhere, had meals for the equivalent of $0.50 and was very active in tennis and water polo.

At nineteen, Wei Min moved to the US for college where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and then attended business school at the University of Illinois. He was leader of the student body and knew every one of the 300+ students in the program.

After business school, Wei Min joined Citigroup in St. Louis and moved to New York City two years later. His earlier roles in New York include finance and deal negotiation. Currently, Wei Min is a marketing strategist VP at Citigroup's cards business.

Wei Min hits the gym five times a week, plays the piano, ran the 2002 New York Marathon, plans to complete an Ironman Triathlon, has a black belt, and speaks several Asian languages. By night, he is working on an import/export business which he feels truly maximizes his international background.

He is quite oriented, yes?!
