Next Steps

If the event is held without any problems or complaints, all of the above deadlines are met on time, and the turnout was within expectations, you pass Probation.

Inform the Program Director of your decision on whether or not you wish to continue. If yes, you will be asked to complete Step 4 of the application process.

Teams that don't pass probation may keep the local portion of door fee revenues as agreed upon with the Program Director less webmaster fees, but we have the right to open up the position to others.

What is this?

Trial runs are provided for Head Organizer candidates of ORIENTED Happy Hours and Special Events teams to help give people a good idea of what it takes to run ORIENTED events.

No assistance is provided by headquarters or by previous organizers other than the information found in our guidelines.

This tells us if you have what it takes to successfully "wing it" with minimum guidance and supervision and can follow our online guidelines with ease.

Some will find it very easy to do, while others may decide that it's not for them.

Good luck!
